Spring Small Business Fund Impact

Park to Broad launched a new micro-grant program in spring 2026, with funds intended to help community businesses overcome challenges, plan community-building events, and grow. Grants totalling $10,000 were awarded to six businesses in the program’s first cycle. We have loved seeing the impact this has made for our local business leaders.
All Day Hoagies
All Day Hoagies, a sandwich shop at 2809 W Girard, received a Small Business Fund grant to increase their order and catering capacity with a refrigerated prep unit. Business owner Yolanda Welch, shared that the “grant made a meaningful difference for me and All Day Hoagies by allowing us to purchase a much-needed countertop refrigerator… and helps us keep ingredients fresh, organized, and easily accessible while serving our customers. It has improved our daily operations and made our food preparation area more efficient. I am truly grateful for the support and investment in the continued growth of my business!”
Kith + Kin
Kith + Kin, a family play space at 3060 W Jefferson, applied for funding to produce a soccer-themed event series! Eden Coffey, co-owner of Kith + Kin, told us the “grant enabled us to host six family-focused soccer parties celebrating the historic summer of the World Cup in Philadelphia. By combining large-screen game viewing with dedicated activities and themed decor, we created an accessible space for families with young children to gather in community.
This vital funding allowed us to participate in an event that typically caters to adults. We collaborated with other local, small businesses to welcome new families during a high-travel summer season in our part of the city. We are incredibly grateful for this investment, which helped us bring our community together and support our business growth.”
Natasha Lynne Studios
Natasha Lynne Studios, received a Small Business Fund grant to expand the sewing workshop accessibility in their clothing alterations studio at 1527 Ridge Ave. Natasha Pressley, owner of Natasha Lynne Studios told us that “since winning this grant we’ve hosted three sewing classes and two private lesson sessions. We are gearing up for our fall courses right now!”
Apply for a Grant
The fall cycle of the Small Business Fund is open from September 8 to October 9. Storefront businesses in Brewerytown, Fairmount, Francisville, and Spring Garden can apply for grants of $500 to $2,000 to support projects that help their businesses grow, from equipment purchases and repairs to marketing campaigns and community events.
