There are just a handful of tickets remaining for Taste of Fairmount - our neighborhood business celebration, raising money for the new Small Business Fund - this Thursday, November 20 at Founder's Hall. Sales close Tuesday at 5:30pm. Get yours before they sell out!

Park to Broad’s is launching a new Small Business Fund! Starting in 2026 we will distribute grants from this fund twice a year to help our neighborhood businesses overcome challenges, plan community-building events, and grow.

We’re one month out from Taste of Fairmount and there are less than 100 tickets left! Make sure you grab yours today before we sell out because no tickets will be sold at the door. Better yet, sponsor the event to maximize visibility for your business or community group. 

We’ve got a big month ahead for local events! Halloween Nights are back at Eastern State, and this Saturday morning October 4 is the CoreFitness Breakout Race, 5k, two-mile walk, and kids’ run at 22nd and Brown - benefitting Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park. There’s lots more coming up

Squeeze out the last bit of summer with us this Wednesday, September 17 for our biggest sidewalk social yet! We'll have two musicians , 10 food and drink options, and a dozen other vendors at 26th & Girard from 5:30-7:30pm.

Fairmount Avenue has changed a lot in 25 years! Neighborhood Potters has been there throughout - since Sandi Pierantozzi & Neil Patterson bought and renovated the building at 2034 Fairmount to make their pottery and a classroom for community learning. Congrats on 25 years, and thanks for the beautiful space you've created at the center of the district.
