Welcome to Cameron's Seafood, where fresh seafood is available raw or cooked to order. Located in the heart of Philadelphia, our carry-out restaurant and market is committed to delivering the highest quality fresh and cooked seafood to our community. Whether you're craving a classic Maryland Crab Cake, buttery crab legs, or our signature seafood bowl, we prepare every dish with care, flavor, and tradition. We have been serving Philly's seafood lovers since 2007, when my husband and I opened our first store on Broad Street and later relocated to our new location at Fairmount Avenue in 2023.


What Makes You Stand Out?

What makes us different is our vast selection of fish, scallops, clams, crabmeat, live crabs, that are available raw or prepared according to your liking (fried, steamed, and/or gluten-free). Enjoy a diverse menu of cooked-to-order meals from traditional Maryland crab gumbo to more exotic seafood tacos, tuna poke, and stuffed shrimp. Finally, round out your meal with delicious sides such as hushpuppies, mac & cheese, coleslaw, rice pilaf or one of our gourmet desserts.

Our menu ranges from light and healthy options like seafood bowls to more traditional favorites like crab cakes, fried shrimp, and seasonal Maryland crabs. We prioritize catering to customer's preferences, always willing to accommodate for different dietary needs (e.g. gluten free) and other customizations. We also provide catering services to both small and large events. So whether you're in the mood for something comforting and classic or something light and nutritious, we have options that satisfy every craving. We're always evolving and always cooking with love.


Why Do You Love Working in the Art Museum District?

Running my seafood restaurant on Fairmount Ave is a rewarding experience. The community here has been incredibly welcoming and supportive since day one, and it feels like home. I love being surrounded by a mix of residents, students, and other businesses who all appreciate good food and value local businesses. Our location is close to great landmarks like the Art Museum and Fairmount Park, which brings in a great mix of locals and visitors. This diversity inspires our menu and connect us to the heart of Philadelphia's culture. What I appreciate most is the sense of community. our customers aren't just guests - they are part of our journey.

What was your inspiration for opening the business?

Our story, from Maryland to Philadelphia, with love and seafood. Our journey began with a dream, a deep love for seafood, and a commitment to bringing people together over great food. Originally based in Maryland, Cameron's Seafood was established by my wife's uncles, Allen and Bijan Manesh, in 1985. Over the years, our family-owned business built a reputation for high-quality, fresh seafood and friendly service. When the opportunity came to grow, my wife and I made the decision to move our business to Philadelphia. it wasn't easy, but through sheer hard work, the dedication of our incredible team, and the unwavering support of our loyal customers, we were able to keep going, even through the toughest times like the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, we are proud to serve the Philadelphia community with a diverse, flavorful menu that reflects both our Maryland roots and our new Philly home.
