Why Do You Love Working in the Art Museum District?

I love working in the Art Museum District because it’s more than just a location — it’s my home. This neighborhood holds deep meaning for me, with over 65 years of my family’s legacy engraved in its heart.

From generations of hard work to building dreams brick by brick, the Art Museum District is where my passion for the arts, community, and culture was born. It inspires everything I do, and being able to serve and grow in the very place that shaped me is a true honor

What was your inspiration for opening the business?

CEG Performing Arts Academy, CEG Studios, and CEG Talent Management Agency were founded by Cristina Elena Guzman, a passionate performer and entrepreneur with over 28 years of experience in the arts. Her inspiration came from a lifelong love of music, performing, and a desire to give others — especially youth and underserved communities — access to quality arts education and career opportunities.

Cristina is hands-on in all aspects of the business and leads a team of experienced instructors, producers, and coaches. Together, they provide classes, creative space, and career support for performers, while also developing real estate projects like Guzmán Lofts and offering inclusive programs through her platform, ACE (Arts Cultural Enrichment programs for the intellectually disabled.)
