Tell Us About Your Business!
Fairmount Playschool is a space where children have a space to call their own. A space to try things, mess up, get messy and be their wacky and amazing selves. We are a Preschool/Pre-K that provides children with a nurturing, loving and inclusive environment that fosters their natural curiosity and love of learning. Playschool is a space that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence, while also promoting social-emotional development and academic readiness through games and fun.

What Makes You Stand Out?
Fairmount Playschool is magic. She is my heart and soul and I am so happy she has become such a big part of the Fairmount community. Playschool embraces differences and big feelings, and can be a safe space for kids who need a little more, whatever that more is. It's also a space for parents to find THEIR people. Playschool isn't just for a year or two, as we say, "Once playschool, always playschool". I Playschool is more than a school, she is a family and she is magic.

What Current Offerings Would Catch Our Eye?
Playschool has openings in Fall for children 3-5 (pre-k). Come see why our school is so special.
Why Do You Love Working in the Park to Broad District?
I love Fairmount. Anyone who knows me I am a ride or die fairmount friend. I love this community and have lived here for 18 yrs and counting. I love the people and the small town feel. I love the community. It is my home and I can't imagine living anywhere else.
What was your inspiration for opening the business?
I'm Brandi and I own and am the lead teacher at Fairmount Playschool. I wanted to create a space for people like me, for kids like me. For those kids who might be a little different, who want to learn in new ways, who are a little weird, or late bloomers. Those who might have different kinds of brains. I wanted to also, create a space where grown ups could find their people, where they can find their village. I wanted to bring all of the things that I dreamed and needed and felt others needed to life.
