Today's Business Network Spotlight features Plants, Etc., a floral and houseplant shop in the Park to Broad District.
Tell Us About Your Business!
Plants, Etc. is a third-generation family business that has been serving the community since 1982 with custom bouquets and floral arrangements for all occasions, house plants, cacti and succulents.

What Makes You Stand Out?
Plants, Etc. stands out for its 40+ year legacy in Fairmount, combining three generations of horticultural expertise with highly personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine relationships with customers who have trusted our family for generations.

What Current Offerings Would Catch Our Eye?
Our extensive selection of cacti and succulents—from miniature desk plants to large statement specimens—offers something for every space, style, and level of plant experience.
Why Do You Love Working in the Park to Broad District?
We love working in Fairmount because our customers are more than customers—they are our neighbors. For over 40 years, this community has supported our family business and allowed us to be part of their most meaningful moments, from baby showers and proms to anniversaries and weddings.
What was your inspiration for opening the business?
Plants, Etc. was founded by my grandmother, who began selling flowers as a street vendor at 18th and JFK before opening a storefront when winter arrived. Shortly after earning her horticulture degree, my mother, Dana, joined the business, and together they turned their shared passion for plants, flowers, and serving the community into a beloved Fairmount institution that has provided personalized service and high-quality floral arrangements and houseplants for more than 40 years.
