Help Local Businesses Thrive
A generous neighbor is matching the first $5,000 in contributions to Park to Broad’s Small Business Fund through December 31 — doubling your impact! We’re making progress, but we haven’t reached our goal yet. Your gift helps local businesses cover unexpected repairs, host community events, and reach new customers, with every dollar going straight back into the neighborhood. Plus, every donation enters you to win a basket of gift cards from some of the district’s favorite spots. Give now and help keep our local business community strong.
Shop Local
Shopping local helps our small businesses too - use our district-wide gift guide and neighborhood business directory whenever you’re unsure what to buy.
Local Businesses in the News
Several local spots across the Park to Broad neighborhoods have been in the news since our last business email.
Honeysuckle on Broad Street is now a Michelin Recommended restaurant, with the guide complimenting its “fine refinement and imagination, careful calibration and attractive presentation,” plus the “equally warm and attentive” service - “the whole thing comes together like a charm.” Congrats!
Manong, “a Filipino-American steakhouse from Tabachoy owner Chance Anies,” opened at 1833 Fairmount Avenue - the former Tela’s Market space.
Fox 29 visited Stephen’s Cafe in Fairmount!
Muse Yoga & Fitness on Ridge Avenue turned four years old, and Cicala on Broad celebrated their sixth year in business!
Park to Broad was in the news as well! Meredith Ellison, our Community Business Advocate, spoke before council to make the approval for sidewalk cafes less onerous for businesses and increase the vitality of our commercial corridors. Thanks to all the neighbors who replied to our legislative action survey earlier this month - keep in touch to help us advocate for the community!
Join the Park to Broad World Cup Planning Group
Lastly, we now know what nations’ fans will be visiting for games during the men’s World Cup in June and July, 2026 - Brazil, France, Croatia, Ecuador, Haiti, Ghana, Curaçao and Côte d'Ivoire! Our work to welcome these guests, and many others, starts with our 2026 Planning Committee Kick-Off, online this Thursday at Noon. If you’re interested in contributing, sign-up here to join. We’ll have lots more information for everyone else in the new year!
