Fairmount Avenue Zoning Update Survey + Nov 12 Community Event

Starting in fall 2026, the Philadelphia City Planning Commission has been working with community groups on a project to update zoning along Fairmount Avenue between Broad Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. There will be future meetings as well to update neighbors on the process, and receive more feedback - this will not be the only in-person opportunity. The City Planning Commission has created the web site at this link to share information throughout, and answer questions about zoning. The survey is important for everyone to answer now, and has questions about the physical development on Fairmount Avenue for those who live, work, and visit to provide input about the corridor.
Please share the survey with your contacts, and meet us at the community event on November 12 will be at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, 1911 Wallace Street. This is intended to work as an “open house” with activities for participation, as well as opportunities to learn, ask questions about the process, and share feedback on your feelings about the corridor and your vision for its future, rather than a formal meeting with a presentation.
