The final week of Fan Fest at Lemon Hill features four match-days + free concerts with big headliners on the off-days - it’s also the last chance to enjoy a game with one of the local businesses who’ve been making our neighborhood Soccer Central all month long.

Philadelphia is hosting baseball’s All Star Game this week as well - a great opportunity to re-visit this story from Hidden City Philadelphia on our community’s ties to the first-ever interracial baseball game - hosted at 27th and Jefferson in 1869!

Ios Restobar and Zorba's Tavern, both on Fairmount Ave were recognized in Philly Mag’s “Guide to Philly’s Best Greek Food"
Honeysuckle and SOUTH on Broad Street both made The New York Times’ “36 Hours in Philadelphia” feature.
Krupa's Tavern at 2701 Brown, and Lorraine at 1502 Brown, were named two of - "The Best Dive Bars in Philly" while Spot Burgers on Girard and Bar Hygge on Fairmount made Philly Mag’s "The Best Burgers in Philadelphia" list.
CBS News reported on The Black Taxi’s status as a “global hotspot” for soccer crowds, while Urban Saloon and Libertee Grounds were named on a list of the best spots for watching sports citywide.
Manong at 1833 Fairmount was recognized as part of Philadelphia’s brunch renaissance by Philadelphia Inquirer, and made Philly Mag’s “Fanciest Hot Dogs” list.
BODIE on Fairmount celebrated their second birthday in business this month, and Brewerytown Bakery their fourth birthday!
Baby’s Kusina has some pop-ups collaborations coming up - a great way to support a community favorite while they undergo repairs.
Little Susie’s (coming soon to Fairmount Avenue) was spotlighted in The Inquirer at the end of June - Reem’s at 26th and Poplar has just opened too!
