Our friends at Philly Tutors and their students have been hard at work -- reviewing restaurants in the Park to Broad District! Check out the students' reviews below.

iMunch Cafe

I went to the iMunch Cafe. It is at 1233 N. 31st street in Brewerytown across from Aldi. I got a Green Lantern smoothie. It was fascinating and it had grapes, apples, spinach and pineapple. It tastes like a sour green apple candy that is not sour. The cost is $5.00 for small, $6.50 for medium and $8.50 for large. To get upstairs there is an interesting spiral staircase at the top. There are also cool windows, lights and seating. They have a bunch of breakfast foods like a breakfast sandwich or breakfast tacos. Overall I like this cafe. I give it 7 stars out of 10.

Ios Restobar

The Ios Restobar's food is quite extravagant and unique. Most Greek food I've tasted is different from Ios. Ios's food has an exotic kind of tang to it that no food I have ever tasted has. For example, the lamb tzatziki gyro. It has a mix of sweet and tangy and bold and broad. One more attractive thing about the Restobar is their extremely nice patient and kind waiters. They keep the restaurant fun for everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant with a 4.9 star review.

Zorba's

I like Zorba's because they have potatoes and potatoes are good. I like the potatoes lemony deliciousness. Its mouth watering! I also like the yummy pita bread, the tasty chicken souvlaki ,and the rice. These are a few things that makes Zorba's aaaaaaaaaaamazing! -4th grader

Pizzeria Vetri

Pizzeria Vetri is an amazing restaurant, and my family and I go there a lot. I like to go to Pizzeria Vetri because the pizza tastes delicious and the Nutella pizza that I usually get for dessert. The nutella pizza is really good because nutella is my favourite chocolate and it has melted marshmallows.

One of the reasons I go to Vetri's pizzeria is because of how the pizza tastes. I think that the pizza we get there is really delicious because of how it's styled and textured. -6th grader

One of my favorite restaurants is Pizzeria Vetri. I like Pizzeria Vetri because of its fancy style. I also like it because of its awesome food, drinks, and desserts. My favorite food to get is pepperoni and sausage pizza. I like it because of its great crispy crust and freshly tasting meat. My favorite drink is their Shirley Temple. I like it because of its sweet, sugary, and fizz taste in the soda. I also like the delicious cherries. My favorite dessert is the nutella pizza because of its chewy marshmallows and its chocolatey nutella and sprinkles. I think what makes it the most tasty is the perfectly crisp crust to make a crunch.

Overall, I would rate Pizzeria Vetri a perfectly good 9.9/10. I took 0.1 off because it gets loud and very crowded. Also the bathrooms are all the way in the back so it's annoying. I like the nice workers and chefs in the restaurant. It's hard work to make the restaurant a safe, cozy place to eat and hang out. So I definitely would recommend to go to Pizzeria Vetri and eat or hang out there. It is a safe family restaurant thats not too fancy, but is a clean and delicious place. -6th grader

Fairmount Flavors

I like the "Oreo Milkshake" at "Fairmount Flavors" because it tastes delicious. I also like it because there's a lot of ice cream in it. -6th grader

My favorite ice cream shop is Fairmount Flavors for many reasons. The first reason is that there are a lot of options including water ice. My favorite flavor is strawberry because it tastes sweet and delicious. -4th grader

Pitruco Pizza

Me and my family go to the Pitruco pizza truck, and play in the playground while we eat. The cheese pizza has tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and pecorino. At the Penitentiary playground (aka Play Pen) at 22nd and Brown St. I give it a 10 out of 10. I like it because the pizza is really tasty. -6th grader

Baby's Kusina and Market

I tried an ensaymada at Baby's Kusina and Market for the first time and it was amazing!!! It is a Filipino pastry. It has fluffy, flaky layer. It is made with strong flour, water, sugar, yeast, and mother dough. -4th grader
