The chance to shop from 100+ local businesses, artists and vendors
Music from two stages plus performances from our neighbors with Action Karate, Philadelphia Youth Tap, B’Ella Ballerina, and the Girard College Choir!

We need volunteers from 8–10:30am to help set up, welcome guests, and assist vendors.

Founder's Day at Girard College

May 17 is also Founder's Day at Girard College! Click here for more information on opportunities to celebrate with our neighbors while also enjoying Girard Avenue Street Festival.

We’ve got new businesses opening! Check out Honeysuckle on Broad Street, Javelin on Fairmount Avenue, Human Robot coming to Girard Avenue, new hours for Brewerytown Bakery and Val’s Restaurant opening on Green Street this weekend. Later this year, new restaurant, Monong, a Filipino American bar-grill from Chef Chance Anies, will open on Fairmount Avenue in place of Tela’s Market.
Happy 9th Birthday to Yoga Habit.
Eastern State’s Wednesday Nights continue with a different theme - next week it’s Historic Preservation.
Bache-Martin School’s annual Bache in Bloom fundraiser is postponed until next week on Thursday, May 22.
The Monkey and The Elephant’s annual fundraiser, Spring Forward, is May 29.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we’re lucky to have this perspective to share from our neighbors at Brewerytown Therapy Collective.
