Our love of summer evenings led to the creation of the Sidewalk Social event series. July's edition is our biggest yet, with seven food options, a local DJ, and products for sale from 15 local businesses - it's all at 28th and Girard from 6pm-8pm this Wednesday, July 16. This Thursday, July 17 from 6:30-7:30pm the Ukrainian League on 23rd Street is hosting Slavic dancing (instructor-led, no experience required!)
Starting at 6pm on the same day, Philly History Pop Ups is repeating their story on the Father of the Underground Railroad, Philadelphia’s William Still. It's free to attend, at Corinthian Gardens, but an RSVP is required at this link.
Philadelphia Zoo is hosting their Summer Ale Fest this Saturday, July 19 with early access ticket entry starting at 6pm.
Tinker & Trade Co has a Locker Room Confessions Author Signing thos Saturday, July 19th from 3-6pm (ticketed) and Mommy/Daddy and Me - Cake Sip & Shop, Sunday, July 20th 3:30pm (ticketed)
Girard College's next summer Jazz Concert is this Sunday, July 20 from 4pm-6pm, and this Saturday, June 19 Founder's Hall is hosting Vive La Francefrom 10am-2pm, in honor of Bastille Day, focusing on Stephen Girard’s French heritage and connections with the French expat community.
After a few rainouts, there are new dates scheduled for the Mondays with Maja Jazz concerts this July 21 and 28 on the Parkway!
North Broad Renaissance is hosting their Summer aBroad Game Night on July 23 from 6pm-8pm at The Met.
The inaugural North Philadelphia History Festival is coming up July 24-27, but don't wait to reserve your place at some of the photo exhibitions, visual installations, film screenings, panel discussions, a walking tour, and live performances - all FREE, celebrating Black and Puerto Rican history.
Next Thursday, July 24 is Neighbors Night on the Brown Street Lawn from 6pm-8pm with games, live music, and food trucks, hosted by Fairmount Civic Association and Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park.

Fairmount Park Conservancy is hosting Family Field Day at Mander Recreation Center on Saturday, July 26 from 10am-1pm.
July 27 from noon to 6pm is the 5th anniversary of Lower North CDC's Jazzing on Ridge event, taking over the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue.
Lemon Hill Neighbors has volunteer days coming up every Wednesday evening this month.
Nearby, the Rodin Garden Bar pop-up is open Fridays from 4pm–8:30 through August 29, and you can checkout the Philadelphia Museum of Art's Friday Night Lounge program as well (this week featuring Brewerytown's DJ Mal from 5pm-8:30) and their Art Kids Summer studio at this link.
Each Sunday afternoon at 2pm visit Brewerytown Garden at 27th and Master for their weekly event series.
