Summer isn’t slowing down the events schedule or our local businesses! We have new openings to celebrate - Human Robot, Poe's Sandwich Joint, and The Illest Flavors on Girard Avenue + Val’s Restaurant at 2047 Green Street - and anniversaries like Neighborhood Potters’ 25 years on Fairmount. We are also happy to welcome Mars Tag & Insurance Agency at 3001 W Girard Avenue as our newest Business Network Supporter!
Next week our monthly Sidewalk Social will be at Fairmount and Corinthian on Wednesday, August 20 from 6pm to 8pm - find the details on the music, food, vendors and businesses at this link - and the same night you can enjoy Community Food Truck Night at the Spring Gardens from 5pm-8pm.
This weekend the Rodin Garden Bar’s final Friday evening performance spotlights the Opera Philadelphia Orchestra; the Philadelphia Museum of Art has a “Meet the Artists” event on Saturday, and this Sunday is Girard College’s final performance of the season for Jazz at Girard.
